Thread: Steampunk keyboard

    Default Steampunk keyboard

Ok...the wife wants a steampunk style build for her computer now. I looked around and she is dead set on the old typewriter style. My question is this....I am looking for a LONG term bulletproof keyboard that will last her for the rest of her life. Should I be looking at mechanical keyboards? or what style? Hoping for waterproof, but moddable, and able to make billions of keystrokes. or am I just looking at purchasing about 4 of the keyboards for replacement parts/swap out?
Not all who mod are modders...

My mind says Technic, but my body says Duplo.

I'd probably start off with some sort of mechanical keyboard. That's what most of the other steampunk keyboards I've seen do, including those made by Jake Von Slatt.
