Project Zalman 2 =D

Basically its called project zalman 2 because of the new zalman 2 watercooling kit... Which i will be buying in the near future... SO! i woke up this morning and thought to my self... lets get spray painting!

So i decided to spray the inside black... To help the Mobo etc stand out!

But first i had to sand down my failing attempt of the outside..!

And spray the inside part of the case

Inside of the two i sanded down...

So a good job for a couple of hours.... Sanding spray took AGES!

Ah well the outside is to be painted next... I shall photoshop those 2 images to see what it will look like and host them....

Also you might see i made another forum.... Would you delete the last 1 ^^ thank you... Comments would be nice

Ok... Got a friend 2 help with the Photoshop image
I will do my own later to help get the chrome to show... BUT

Remember The beige parts will be chrome (yes i kno there is black over the fan )

Looks pretty cool. On the first picture you posted.. did the case come like that? Are you gonna leave that there and just paint over it?

How are you gonna get those pieces chrome?

Spray paint xD And no they came in a aluminium colour.... Now they are black...

Is it the Reserator 2 you'll be buying? I was thinking of getting one so I'd be interested to see how you get on with it. Are you integrating it with the case or just leaving it as a separate unit?

Probably keeping it as a seperate unit... But we will see....
ANYWAYS! i have been working today got some spraying done... Still need to chrome it but ive ran out of masking tape ^^ hehe

So there is the case... Still need to apply the chrome paint But it is good so far!

That is the top of the case all chromed

(btw the side of the case has not been chromed... Just sanded down... ^^

Also... no the case didnt come like that.... I had 2 make that side panel because i couldnt be bothered to buy one like that.... As you would probably be able to tell from the window o.O (which i covered my hacking marks

I've seen it done before. I think it looks pretty cool. How much room do you have under your case?
