Default First project, need some help

After reading the article about the Biomech MOD, I got the itch to do some major facelifting on my case. I have an Aspire XQPACK SFF case, I know what I would like to do (which would be to add stuff to it), but I have no idea what kind of modeling putty/clay to use. If anyone could help me with this that would be great.

The only modeling stuff that comes to my mind is the stuff called "bondo". I'm not sure if thats the stuff you need but I have heard of it alot through out these forums. Might be worth looking into.

    Happy Modding,

I think bondo is more for bonding different pieces of something together. I guess you could build up a rough frame out of like scrap plexi, and then use the bondo and sanding for detail, but other than that I don't know what you would use.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. I'm probably going to build a frame around the original case and then use the putty on top of it to fill it out, that way it won't weigh as much, seeing as though I won't have to build up the entire thing with the bondo. Thanks so much for all your help guys!
