    Default First time painting

Finally had a weekend when I didnt have to work so i decided to (attempt to) make my case a lil more appealing.

I really like the finish on the outside of the case (literally its like a car finish...its so shiny, really hard to take decent pictures of).

I wanted the inside to match it yet subtely...give it a nice flat black finish. I've been building computer's for a while but I'm definitely an infant when it comes to painting so bear with me .
    Sanding/Masking:

Primer plus first coat of flat black:

2nd coat of black plus a light clear coat:

Well, I didnt want green wires ruining my black/red theme i had goin,

so, using what I had supplies I had (just electrical tape...ha), I made black covers =)

And here's the finished product....minus a tad bit more wire management needing to take place.

I would have used a couple more coats of black to get a more even finish and added a little more attention to detail but 1. it started raining on me so no painting, 2. I needed my comp up and running by the next night, which it rained through the night and humidity = bad for painting. I figure though it was a good learning experience and give it a bit more "stealthy" look, plus it was fun. My first real project will be much better .

It's an Enermax Black Knight. Got it for only about $45 USD on Newegg . I love it especially for the price. Very sturdy, no sharp edges, awesome finish, and i especially love the sliding drive bays. I'm not particular to bay doors...they seem to just get in the way or get broken easily, but they do keep a nice stealthy look, which is why i like the sliding bays . It comes in black and white but I personally like the black better, and the USB ports are in the middle rather than down at the bottom like the white one.

Nice work. I like how you included all your PCI brackets too.

First thing that stuck out to me was your 2 rear exhaust fan holes. They just look REALLY restrictive on air flow... The whole front intake fan hole can be cut out too since it won't be seen. That is just my thoughts.
