ok i found it, look at this: http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/f...ead.php?t=2269

if you have a rotary tool, you could put a nice piece of plumbing pipe into the bezel, then cut it to the same shape at the same level as the bezel, then use some filler, would be pretty sweet yah?

Doing that looks pretty sweet but is alot of work especially using the filler and sanding it properly and painting it etc.

What type of fans did you order. Nexus makes some great quite 120mm fans.
    Need a sig

to be honest, im not a huge fan of the turbine look on my dell, but it definatly it is neat.

and as far as the fans i'm going to order, im still not sure. im deciding on some of these:

    80mm side fan

    92mm rear exhaust

    120mm front intake

since i will have to plug these into my power supply, theres no way to change their speeds right? im new to buying fans as well.

Just ordered 1 front 120mm intake

    and 2 80mm

i'll use 1 80mm for my side panel and 1 for my cpu heatsink (between the memory and green chute) or top exhaust

alright everyone, im back. i was out of town.

i got my fans in the mail!!

i only taped them in because the cutting will start tomorrow. the fans look blue in the picture but they are white.

Put the 80mm on the side as an intake

put the 120 in the front as an intake

The space my floppy used to be is still open, should i close that up somehow?

Now i noticed my graphics card is still idling at 40 degrees, the same as its always been before the fans. should my side be exhausting?

this is what im planning on doing with the harddrive tomorrow:

maybe hang it right here somehow so it doesnt block the airflow

man when i turned on my computer i was so happy to see the colors

HA! That is really cool man.

I think you are the only person to have a "lighted" dell computer. :p

People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

I think it's great that you are modding a dell. As original as they can sometimes look IMHO all dells need some lights! Not sure if you are there yet, but do some wiring cleanup and it will be top notch. Great job.

PS Bet that red sticker on the bottom starts with : "refurbished" (hehe can you tell I've worked on a few dells?)
