You can... make them out of mesh with some wire cutters and plyers and stuff like that. That would be an easy idea and might even look pretty cool if you do it right. There are tons of different shaped mesh too. I saw radio active mesh once. It was pretty cool stuff. You can also paint them too if you like. You dont need a bunch of fancy equipment or crazy skills to make things. Just use what you got you know? -Points to brain-

Try and see if there's a surplus electronics store near you. I can get 120mm grilles like the one on Xoxide in perfect condition for anywhere from 50 to 80 cents. in fact, that's what I have for ArgDawn's grill, which I hope to mod sometime.
