I just recently finished sleaving most of the cables on my power supply.
When i did this i was extremely careful to make sure that all of the wires made it back in to their original position. (and subsequently was extremely delighted in the fact that my power supply still functions)
My question is though, When reconnecting the grounds Does it matter which goes in which socket?
For instance.
On my molex connectors each little slot was numbered. If i remember correctly it was like this.
1. - yellow
2. - black (ground)
3. - black (ground)
4. - red
Does it matter if i switch #2 and #3 ? Is each ground specific to either voltage?
Im assuming they have to be exact, which is how i did it.
Sorry for the stupid question, I think i already know the answer as i stated above, i just thought i would ask anyway.
