Newbster, to make a newegg wishlist public, you have to jsut do this:

Save your desired items, and go to the "My saved wishlists". Select the list you want to share, and press the "share" button.

Then what I did, was I e-mailed myself the link of the wishlist, as if I was e-mailing a friend. I check my e-mail, and voila, I have the URL to the wishlist.

You could go quad core if you felt like it. lol
    Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700
I thought about it but I see no real gains in performance between the two chips IMHO

Yes, the 8800 series are DX10.

Actually, you would see a slight performance decrease (depending on what you are benchmarking with) with the quad core because the clock speed is a bit slower. But, developers like Valve are starting to push towards multi-threaded coding in their games. But you are right, there are no gains for now and probably not that soon either. I just suggested (more like joked about) it because you were going all out already and your "budget" is huge, so it wouldn't cost that much more to get a quad core. You also won't have to worry about upgrading it later. But I would wait until Intel comes out with a "native" quad core. Hopefully, it would be better and eat up less power.

    Good luck with your build!
