    Default Hard drive installation?

    hey guys, how do i put my HD in? There aren't any drive baskets so i can't figure it out.

    The links are dead. If there are no brackets is there somewhere you can screw them in?

    they can fit into the things that u put the floppy drive into? should i put it there.

    I see what you mean. So there were no brackets supplied. With either the case or the HDD?

    You can put it in the bay with the floppy drive fine.

    nope no brackets.... so no problems i should be aware of about puting it next to the flopy?

    no. thats where i put mine before i bought a case with brackets. btw you have a floppy permenantly installed? I only attatch it when i'm messing with the BIOS(updates), but thats usually a one time deal, then I never use it again.

    You should be able to screw the HDD in the area I highlighted.

    thats what i thought but my hd screw holes dont line up! im just putin' it next to the floppy...

    OFF TOPIC/DONT WANT TO CLUTTER FORUM WITH NEW THREAD:

    Do I need to buy like a surge protector or something? is there anything i should consider buying?

    surge protector is a must. UPS(look it up on newegg for explaination if you need) is another good thing to have but not needed nearly as much.
