i thought anything above 50 under load was bad? if it's not, then please fill me in on the "bad" and "good" PC case temps.

i will do a worklog, don't get all excited just yet. It's going to be my first mod EVER and it won't happen for a while. So hang on tight =]

Well, I thought anything below 60 is ok.

By the way that sux, that you won't be able to use your comp. Then again when you get back you'll be in greatness.

Invoice was approved and payment has been submitted. I guess I'll have to format the hard drive on my old computer and use that one while I await the new card. I have to wait for my current one to reach them, be processed, and then or the new one to arrive.

I don't know about AU, but it doesn't seem like it will be out in the USA until January. A handful was released and a few people bought them at places like Newegg. I'm guessing that Asus is fixing something and once it is fixed, they will mass produce the board. I'm waiting for it too...

yea it seems like it's the same release date worldwide then. Mid to end January. Some say 12th others say 22nd. No one really knows for sure just yet.

They're fixing some BIOS problems in overclocking. The voltage timings displayed were inaccurate in the BIOS compared to what was really happening. They're also trying to unlock more power in the BIOS making this a true next generation board.

eVGA should recieve my card by the 26th, and then once it's all processed I payed for 2 day shipping, so I'm thinking I'll get it somewhere between the 29th and 31st.

The only thing that sucks is that an eVGA 8800GTX from Newegg costs $590 But the one I'm getting from eVGA costs $650. So I'm paying $150 for the card (not including shipping).
