i'm now ranking 3rd to get the 8800GTX card on these forums, all because of the Asus Striker Extreme launch date. If i'd gone with the P5N32 SLi Se Deluxe i would have been first, but i'd rather hold out for the new chipset. It's coming out this Friday in AU =D

As long as it comes in HUGE quantities... Newegg seemed to be getting small batches every week and would go out of stock within a few minutes. I found it for $320 somewhere else, but I am still questioning wheter I should pay ~$70 more over the EVGA 680i.

Anyways, I don't think anyone here has a 8800GTX in SLI. You could be the first to do that Ronyx

+ i'd need a good 30" Monitor to be able to push this puppy to what it can really do in SLI. I would be looking at resolutions of around 20000x10000 to see what it's limits really are =P

Well first, lemme say the 8800GTX wouldn't fit in my case, my X1900XTX barely does...

Back to your question, I've got the NZXT lexa which has a 120mm fan on the window, 120mm fan on the back, 120mm aimed at the HDDs and an 80mm on the top. With all my specs my proc idles at 34 degrees, gfx at 35 and case around 24. After a couple hours of CoD2 or NFSC im running: proc-44, gfx- 56, case-32.

How big exactly is the 8800GTX? I have a NZXT Lexa and am hoping to upgrade to a 8800GTX. I dont mide cutting into the drive bays cos my HDD is in the centre slot.

I measured how much room there is from the start of the GPU at teh rear of the case to the HDD drive bays and there is about 30-33cm.
