    Nice idea
Post some pics of your ammo box, a list of your components, and the general idea you have That way, we will have a better idea of the situation and how to help you.

Yes, pics are always a good thing when modding. ^_^

If you've got the parts already, I would start by measuring them all and deciding how to arrange them inside the ammo box. Take into consideration that you will be needing standoffs for the motherboard and something to secure the expansion cards. If you have a spare case laying around, a good idea would be to take the motherboard and rear panel sections and use them with the ammo box. If you need pointers or advice, feel free to ask, but I highly suggest looking around the work logs here. They help a lot and show you how other have done things.

I remember seeing an ammo box mod before. Really classy stuff. They guy even integrated an LCD to pop up out of the top. I don't remember where it was though.

    ok, so for components:
    -asus p5n-sli mainboard
    - pentium e6400 core duo 2.16 ghz(gonna be over-clocked to about 3)
    - 2 gb DDR2 RAM( i think im getting OCZ)
    - 2X evga 7950 512mb super clocked in sli
    - 500 watt ocz modsteam psu
    - 2X hardrives
    - optical drive
and the ammo box looks like this...
    top:

    side:

    front:

and as for the way i want it, all the sides oriented as i listed, and i dont want to butcher any of the writing on the sides because its just so cool, or the handles for the easy to move around factor
so, seeing as the handle gets in the way for the cd drive to be put in (in the conventional sense, i figure i could mount it to come out the side(theres room i measured)
and the psu will have to be moved somewhere because theres hieght restriction

    hope this helps
i can work on some rough design ideas over the next few days if that helps

The first thing I see, is that you a good airflow with this specs, so unfortunatly, there's a couple of holes to make. Plus, I dont think this PSU will be enough :/ 2 cards in SLI demand alot of juice... and a good OC too...

Now, lets see what can be done...
The optical drive can be easilly mounted on the bottom of the case so you keep your handling.
The PSU can be put side way, like the Armor case, or just installe on the top of the case, like almost every PSU.

Start with this and see where it goes

    Have fun

the psu is acually a 520, i read the card specs and it said it required a 400, so i bought this one because the sales guy said it runs quiet and morre effiecient than one that came with a case i was going to get, and recently i decided to get two cards and sli them
and yeah, of course im going to put some holes in it for ventilation, and i want to water cool it, should i go with a kit, or buy parts seperatly?

I suggest you calculate yourself the required Wattage

For the WC kit, I suggest you see how much space you will have first
