17 inch screen

hey all right just want to know if anyones takin a 17inch tft apart and measured it before i gut mine id like to know if it will fit on the front of my case.

I know you could put it in the side panel of your comp, but youre gonna have some large sccreen in the front of your case?

Unless you have a custom case a 17" LCD panel even out of its caseing will not fit across the front of a normal case.

Perhaps it's one of those server cases? (Those double ones)

Is it a widescreen LCD or a 4:3 one?

P.S. Actually I'd probably just be easier to measure the lcd part together and add a 1/4 inch to the height and width
