Check this out for model making. Chicken wire and newspaper (paper mache).
Expandable foam would probably work as a skin over the chicken wire too. Then you can just cut it and add whatever texture needed (I would imagine). Not sure though, never actually had to make a model like this.

Oooh, a model of a dragon? Sounds cool!

    Maybe this will help...

    hahaha, jk!

I would start with figuring out how to make the skeleton. Maybe use wires or chicken mesh? After that, you can then add things like skin, eyes, scales, teeth, etc.

I'll keep my eyes open for plans on the internet.
People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

Thanks I was rather hoping to find a premade model like they do in games workshop but after goin on the web page there all rubbish. So what do you think of this making a frame from wire I live on a farm so we have tons. Then using a bit of mesh to make the wings and bulk it out then dip it in a big bowl of bondo (p38 filler). Then doing all the shaping using a knife and sand paper its not going to be a massive model only about half a foot long.
