****.. I wish I would have known about that before.. it takes about 90 minutes to cut that sticker out using an xacto knife. I'll live with the little wrinkles. lol

maybe just a border would frame that emblem nicely?

We think alike Jon. I used some electrical tape around the edges. I didn't like it though. A black fade would look cool. Now I wish I wouldn't have thrown away that junk mouse so I can practice.

    Yeah,

Here's where it gets dangerous. I'm always like that. "It needs just one more thing."

I say leave it. Projects always looks dull before the clear. I think once you put clear on it you'll love it.

I got some clear coat earlier today. This stuff is quick! The can says to apply the coats 60 minutes or less apart, otherwise let it cure for 2 days before applying the next coat. So far, I have 3 coats down. FYI, I'm using Speed E-Namel paints. I was thoroughly impressed after just the 1st coat. Depending on how the 3rd coat looks, I might let it go for 2 days and then wet sand and lay down a few more coats. Haven't touched the buttons with clear yet, just the body. Just wait till you guys see....

It's a little cold here today..

Actually, I hung it below the heater vent this time. The paint cured MUCH better.

    I feel for ya.

Ok guys.. here we go. These are shots after some clear on the body. I'll clear the buttons tonight.

This is how the sticker started out, and the paint I'm using. The rest are just different angles of the mouse body.
