Default Intel's on the offensive: roadmap

There's the new Intel roadmap. It outlines Intel's plans for dual-core CPUs and there "next-next generation" CPUs. Very interesting read.

Niether do I, but I found it interesting to get in on the competition.
There should be an AMD roadmap pretty soon.

Well, I won't be buying Intel very soon; I plan on getting my new workshop/rig next week, since I'm... moving... jeeze, that's about the millionth time :p I'm getting along with my current rig, though.

Here's a preview of my new rig:

Mobo: Chaintech VNF4 OR ECS nForce4-A939
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 Venice Core 3000+
Memory: Rosewill DDR400 1GB (2x512) Dual Channel Kit
Hard Drives: 2x Western Digital Caviar SE SATA150 80GB
Video Card: Leadtek 6600GT OR Sapphire X800/X800XL
PSU: AeroCool AeroPower Silver Line 450Watt or greater
    Case: My new 'Mech case!

Oh yeah, it'll be the ****zor!

are you sure abou tthe XL? I thought the XT and the pro were the only ones that could outperform the 6600gt. Especially if you get the extreme edition from leadtek
