Subscribing

I've come across 'subscribing' to threads...

Stupid question time...

What is it, and how do I do it?

It allows you to have a list of threads you like in your User Control Panel, and recieve updates when there is a new post in it.
To subscribe to a thread, click the thread tools drop down menu (to the right of the grey bar just above the first post in a thread) and click subscribe.

You can also unsubscribe at any time.

An easier way (which I use) is to automatically subscribe to threads you've contributed to. So this one will now appear in the list. I have this forum's bookmark set to take me right to my control panel, so I can see right away any new posts in my subbed threads.
