I should crack open PS6 (huzzah horribly outdated yet STILL awesome software -- and yes, it's legit) and whip out a few new sigs. Try some new styles or something.

Heres a few that I made aout 2 years ago when I first started playing around with photo editing/manipulation.

That Rose sig is my favorite of all time, but I lost the PSD, and can't get rid of that copyright thing.

Here's one I finished earlier. Simple, yet effective.

I hope to do a (more) worthwhile revision on the same concept tomorrow.

    EDIT:

    Slim revision:

    FIRST Logo revision:

Team 675 here, 23rd of 48, Alliance Semifinalists this year with 987 and 846, two pretty good teams. We're going to the Davis regional next week, with hopes to go to Nationals.

He wasn't confusing the acronym, he was noting the big "FIRST" in one of the sigs and the US FIRST logo. I am, in fact, on a Robotics team.

Our team got our shirts professionally done with a small logo on the front and the full-size on on the back. It's pretty cool.

I helped design, assemble, modify, and some other stuff to the chassis, as well as I assembled the CIM/56mm Gearbox setup and mounted them (with custom sliding mounting plates that I machined). Almost everything on our robot has a failsafe, plus we can push another bot and the scoring structure at the same time. It's torquey, with the CIM's on a 12:1 reduction gearbox.

OH, and if you've heard about Team 254 (NASA Ames Robotics, the Cheesy Poofs, famous for a 7-year streak at the Silicon Valley Regional), one of their old members gave us something like two or three of their shifting gearbox designs. Freakin' sweet.

Omnidrive wheels are just fine, as long as the field is flat and you're not going to be pushed.

I like Mecanums quite a bit. Nothing like TRUE omni-directional planar movement.
