LOL, i thought from the post that Zeus thought it had 48 heatpipes, kinda like... 'hey guys, check out this 48 heat pipe cooler i found'.... I was just trying to be discrete about telling him he's wrong, lol... Which i guess doesn't go to far on these forums

Umm, what in my post made you come to that conclusion. I was merely trying to show another decent HSF that was at the time selling for a KILLER price. I just don't thing it is reasonable to think that an HSF would have 48 Heatpipes because most only have up to about 7.

BTW, Xato, I hope you don't think I was attacking you. I just didn't see think it was a reasonable conclusion to jump to.

Lol nah, i knew you weren't attacking me...
    All's well that ends well.
Plus it is a reasonable price, but from the look of that heatsink, those fins are probably welded, and there aren't that many of them.

I have a thermalright heatsink running on a p4 2.6C and it idles at 33C. That is with an 80mm panaflo on there, silent and cool, it is a very nice heatsink. It is all copper btw.

Well, it's not a heatsink per sey, but I love my Coolermaster Aquagate Mini. Previously I had a Zalman 7700, which was pretty good.

I just bought one of those big chunks of fanny goodness for my Pentium D since the stock heatsink was crap. Temps are down by 25C, but the thing takes up the entire space between PSU, RAM, exhaust fans, and video card (definitely not for small form factor cases). It's really quiet too - all you hear is a faint rush of air.
