Thumbs up 2 power seat motors

i was at work today and found a whole power seat setup and being the pack rat i am i went and removed 2 motors from it, with fire! (fun). i'm pretty sure there in good working condition i tested them with a car battery and tried to put pressure on them but they kept working so i think there good. here are some pictures.

they have about 2-3" of travel

    Gearbox --flex--shaft-- MotoR --flex--shaft-- Gearbox

    flex flex
    shaft shaft

this picture below is kinda what it looked like. the motor with a white label is for up and down. the other one to the far left is the motor i didn't take, which is the motor in the middle of my example above. but i took the 2 gearboxes and 2 flex cables.

these next 3 pictures are from the third motor, which i didn't take. the are the gear boxes that help move the seat forward and back.

so my question is what should i do with them!?!?

I was thinking you could turn it into one, what with motors coupled to leadscrews, and leadnuts to fit, you could build yourself a little mini CNC. However, the motors would never be precise enough, you'd need to you steppers or servos.
