okay does anyone know how to take the blades off of a fan?
still cant figure it out, someone got pics/tut
But just for you I grabbed a spare 120mm case fan and made a quick photo tutorial:
Step one: A case fan.
Step two: Remove sticker.
Step three: Get a small jewelers screwdriver and carefully prise it off by working your way around. Careful not to snap it.
Here is the washer off the fan:
Step five: pull fan off:
Put it back together the opposite way.
wait is it an o ring on the outside of it or the really little o ring with the tab on it right on the shaft
lol i would give you rep but it says i have to spead it around before i give it to you lol
yeah i cant manage to get that thing off, will try again later but for now
1300 fsb idle 30 load 48 max 2925mhz, gunna try and break 3ghz on stock volt
What are you using to try and get it out?
I used the smallest jewelers screwdriver I have and put it in the split of the washer and then worked my way around it.
Sometimes it can be hard to get it to come up because of all the lube, in that case pull the fan outwards so the washer has some pressure on it, then get the screwdriver in and work it around.
As for your temps, they are starting to get up a bit there. If it's already at 48, it will only get hotter from there. You should be aiming for 50 as an absolute maximum. Hotter than that and you will risk premature failure.
What are you running that needs the high overclock?
