Yup. They are covered. I am most likely going to wire up new buttons and put them below the drives somewhere within the free space below. I might move the audio out jacks and the volume wheels too.Originally Posted by Xbrid

Looking SUPERB!!!, keeps getting better and better.
Keep up the Excellent work.
PS - Out of curiosity (hope u don't mind me asking) how pricey is the tinted acrylic?
Here in the UK, is stupidly expensive trying to get any plastic/metal sheeting.
I keep looking at some of the prices of stuff on the US hardware sights....
You Yanks don't know how lucky u are....

Thanks! I 60$ for the tinted, thats a 4' x 8' sheet and I paid 100 for the 4' x 8' sheet of UV green. Sorry about the pricing down by you. That sucks. You tried going to a scrap metal yard for metal? I got hude sheets of aluminum for a couple of bucks!Originally Posted by UK-Blade
Yeah, Im gonna try contacting a few places about buying some of the off cuts. Could come in handy for smaller parts of the case mod, plus should be a bit cheaper.
Worst that can happen is that they say no....

wow that tinted plexi in the front looks sweet!
They wont say no. Selling scrap instead of throwing it out, who would say no?Originally Posted by UK-Blade

UPDATE! I wasn't really successful today. Today was more like one of those experimenting trying to figure out a way too,... day. Anyways,... check the pics,...
Once again,... reservoir before.
Reservoir after. I flame polished it, obviously.
Pieces that will be used for the optical drive tray panels. Yes,... there is UV green acrylic there. I finally cut up the sheet of UV green stuff. This stuff is so cool.
UV green.
After first cut.
All the UV shavings left over after using the router. It doesn't look like much in the picture but its cool as hell in person.
All done cutting. Ready for the corners to be rounded.
Lit up.
Tinted rounded and in its slot. I am not going to use these because I made them a tiny bit to small. I mean like a 32 of an inch, LOL. Yea. Thre are other reason I dont want to use them.
The tinted and UV together on the front of the tray. This is what it's going ot look like, without the hand of coarse.
Another shot of the tinted in place.
Lit up.
This stuff is so cool.
This is what the front of the computer is goin gto look like. The UV behind the tinted. Also,... the edges of the UV have been rounded just a bit so you can see the glowing edges looking from head on. Sweet isnt? ISNT IT!!
Here's the PSONE painted black. Not exactly the best paint job but it's black and theres none no the screen
why did u paint the screen??? now u wont be able to see anything on it???
