    Default For the wireless gurus...

I have recently fallen upon a laptop that is absolutely befuddling me.

Integrated wireless. Intel 3945ABG. I'm trying to auth to a Procurve AP with PEAP running. All my settings on both are correct, other machines can auth fine. This one will only auth within 10 feet of the AP, after that it will continue to ping to around 50 ft, then drop connection. The AP should be able to auth line of sight ~250ft.

I've already modified the power settings to make sure it will use as much power possible trying to seek a signal.

I've already nuked the drivers, upgraded, and rolled back.

I'm extremely tired today and maybe I'm missing something small.
If anyone can help and demistify my dilemma, it would be greatly appreciated.

I figured it out today. The antenna was faulty in the laptop. Replaced it with a spare, works great.
