    Default Physics Engine?

    Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a type of physics engine where i can add my own variables like weight, shapes, surface ect. I am going to be using it for custom vehicle testing. So instead of making them, it would run a number of scenarios to see which one is the best and would work the best. Does anybody know of this type of engine or would i have to make it, if so how would i go about doing that?

    Thanks alot for the help

    Sam

Umm sorta lol well not really. What i want is to lets say draw a circle then add 2 motors and 4 wheels then i want it to go forwards and maybe turn left. Ermm hard to explain. I guess I want everything that would happen if i build it in real life, on the computer. So i can test to see if it would turn better if the motors were in a different spot, or if the wheels were bigger. Something alone those lines. And yes i understand im not making much sense lol.

    Thanks

From what I gather this may be the only Link on the internet fot that type of information.

Your talking Multi-Variable Construct design animation. Heavyy!!
You may want to contact MIT for help with this.

It'd be a hell . . of alot easier to get various physical parts/models and do an experiment.

awww i thought this would actually be easy rather than building them, i guess not. Hmm i really thought this would be a simple download, guess not. Ill do some more digging tomorrow. Little bit hard to understand all the mumbo jumbo.

    Thanks

You mean like an open source version of the Havok engine? Trust me, this is going to be _tough_ stuff. However, I did find some things you might like.
