Well I have some really good news. Stocks on my long awaited motherboard will be replenished later this week. I should have the motherboard and Vista by the end of next week

Just about to start work on the fans so finished product should be up later today or tomorrow.

Ok time to start my small fan mod.

Here is a pic of the 4 fans I will be modding.

The small fan is from my Thermaltake Extreme Spirit 2 North bridge cooler.

Making sure that they all still work.

A little off topic but here is my test PSU that I made a while ago thanks to Bucko’s work log. I am using this to power my fans and I will use it to test my water cooling.

To make the fans UV reactive I will be using a gel/liquid highlighter. Here is a pic with the heatsink fan UV CCFL and the highlighter.

Here is the first fan done.

Lit up and under UV light.

All of the finished fans under UV light.

Well that’s all for now. I don’t know what I will do next, probably the water cooling. Until then…

    Happy Modding.

All of those fans have blue LED's, that's why I chose the green highlighter, they compliment each other very well. As you can see by the picture of the small fan It glows quite well, that pic was taken without any UV light.
    Thanks for the rep BTW.

    Very minor update:
I may have to wait a while for my water cooling. Stocks on the Swiftech Apogee GTX CPU block and the Swiftech MCW-60 G80 adaptor plate for the 8*00 series graphics cards should arrive in about 1-2 weeks. So the only thing I can do now is order my radiator, pump, res, tubing and all the fittings. This is good in a way because I can get started on cutting holes for mounting my radiator (I intend to mount it outside of the case and pass the tubing through some holes). When the radiator is mounted I can start the disassembly of the case and start painting the interior. I should get my motherboard and Vista later next week so I will have some nice pictures for you. Until then...

    Happy Modding.
