No what i mean is, the fan controller has 3 nobs (giggety) which go through the front of the aluminium case and then attach to the circuit boards behind it. I need to take the little nobs off so that i can paint them to fit with my case mod.

Hi, is it the Akasa Fan control Jr you're talking about? I have one that it's not used and out of the case too.. I can study it ... did it: the knobs come off if you put something sharp (nail, screw driver) behind the knob and use just a lil but constant force.. There are no screws that can cause problems... if it is the 3,5" Jr we are talking about... pic?
