Congratulations man. Oh and please cancel your holidays and continue modding this . I really want to see what will come next. Especially if you put water in the sphere.
Man I love it when you can see a great case brewing from the start, the excitement is killer. Can't wait to see more, keep it up
Awesome mod, for some reason foreigners are always better modders

Wow, thank you verry much for those compliments!
I have only a small status update for you at this time (with some mobile-phone-pics):
So, the third Visor-Reservoir is 90% completed. As you see on the pics, the water ducts and hinges are on their place:
Left hinge (water inlet):
Right hinge (water outlet):
Water outlet in the top:
All the glueing is not perfectly smooth looking but I need this to be water-proof so I use a little to much glue all the time. But nobody will see the mess later as I'm going to sand the top sphere at those areas like last time. So you can't see through.
What you can hardly see on the pics: All plexi spacers are made of two layers. That's why I need so much time for it. Glue one piece, wait some hours and then glue the next layer over it... It's annoying but as someone here said: "This case has to be built!"
While I was waiting for the glue to harden, I started on the support for the hinges:
This is 1mm aluminium. It will be placed between the visor and the outer sphere and hold the visor. The aluminium will be bent later and then fixed to the wooden pase-plate.
Thats it so far. I'm going to work on it this afternoon and I really hope to get the visor done to a state to show you the water flowing throug
See you,
Squelsh
Looking quite good... I like how you're putting the water res into the visor, quite coo.

Hey guys, only a small update and some "lost and found" pics:
Today I got the visor 95% ready. Only the outer sphere and the outermost hinge-layer are missing. All water ducts and my logo are done
The pics I have show the water in- and outlets:
I turned in a big screw as some kind of handle and sanded them on the sanding machine to make them concave so they fit to the sphere.
Next pics show my Logitech Sphere webcam:
Isn't it the perfect adon for the orb?
I still hope to show you pics of the water filled visor tomorrow
