Default 1929 Duesenburg model j" themed front panel

ok i was reading a book by clive cussler called flood tide and i saw on the reverse cover a picture of a 1929 model j duesenburg car. then i noticed the grill and how sweet it would be to have the front panel of a case like that. then later, i devised a cheap way to make one simmilar to the car's grill. it should be uploaded from sketchup tomorrow.

here is a 1930 model j since i couldnt find a clear enough picture of a 1929 one

here is a different 1929 model j with a mesh grill that im thinking would be easier to do.

Hey good, someone else reads Clive Cussler.

I'm with you there, it'd be good to see a car-based mod based on the Depression/prewar era. If done properly, that'd be incredible!

I would love to see this mod happen, those cars remind me of the game "Mafia" my first pc game and my first game modding experience ahhh memories

woah, i never said am doing this mod, but if i can get my hands on an ATX case to put my compinents in, i would go ahead. (i have a spare mATX case, but a spare ATX mobo ) but i can ask my boss if i can use one of the cases from the computers we throw away( that might take a few days)

Obviously using a full size car grill would be too big, but what about if you could get your hands on something like www.minirods.com use on their cars?

well, i cant upload the scketchup because i forgot the computer at my work only has a memorystickduo reader, not an sd card. so, i drew something up on paint. basicly you bend a whole bunch of aluminum sheets around 1mm thick.

    sorry its kinda rough.

anyways, i decided to go ahead and give it a try on my spare mATX case now that finally got a CPU fan for the mobo.
