    two words, "Computer graphics", that is why he cannot work in the movie biz :/. No one wants mecahnical stuff anymore really. Whats the point when it can all be done in CG for less cost.

    The movie AVP was done via animatronics... people still use them for different things...

    actually mechanical FX are still a huge part of specialFX--just not for applications where CGI is more flexible and less expensive. Most really good FX are a combination of both hardcore mechanical and CGI--

    Looking really good.

    I also like the last one .. But I think its more of a look like I did something wrong and I am not going to tell.

    once all done I think someone needs to floss a little more.

    That's a clever little rig with the 3 ball-grinders put together. I really like the detail of your sculpting. The bulge in the gums from the root of the tooth. A neccesary detail for your job but you put that sort of detail in all the sculpting. Very Sharp.
