I bought my E6600 just before they released the E6750 and there was that massive price drop on the Q6600. I am kicking myself at the moment, waited and extra week and for $30AUS more it would have been worth it in the long run.

I ordered my 6750 today... along with the mobo I mentioned in my worklog... and 2gb of OCZ ram.
i did the same thingdont let it bother you though The E6750 is pritty much an overclocked E6600 that runs a little cooler. With an aftermarket HSF and some overclocking skill the E6600 can easily run at the same speed (3.0GHz @ 1333 FSB) and not get too hot.
Edit: I would like to say if your buying a new Processor right now the e6750 is probably a better choice b/c its newer
I picked up a Q6600 last week..
BOING !
EVGA 780I SLI | Vista Home Premium 64-Bit
Intel Q6600 2.4 @3.2 | 1-750 Gig, 1-500 Gig SATA
Corsair 2X 4Gig Matched Sets
Dual 8800GT 512
Thermaltake 850W Modular PS
Oh, and I certainly would not feel bad
at all about getting that E6600.. I was looking
at the same Chip until I saw the Q6600 for
not a whole lot more. ( c0 Stepping )
Also, according to AnandTech ( and other sites )
the E6600 is probably the best overclocker right
now of the Core Duo's.. Check out the link below,
they got it to OC Stable @ 4GHz on air !

Well I'm water cooling my rig so OCing may be an option lol.
