Thread: 8pin adapters?

  1. #1

    Default 8pin adapters?

Im currently bidding on a 2900 Pro and it has 1 6pin and 1 8pin power connector. My PSU has dual 6pin's so i know it'll work. Problem is that the card wont OC aswell without the other 2pin's. Do they make an adapter from 6pin to 8pin or from molex to 8pin? Google didnt turn up much, i probly worded it wrong.

    Thanks in advance!

so long as the psu can handle the card i don't see why it's not recommended. all the 2 extra wires are is a ground and a 12v line.
