    Default Songsmith meets Classic Tunes

Microsoft Songsmith debuted this month, and it's already being used to ruin classic songs. The Wiki article on it explains how - basically, you get the original vocal track alone, feed it through Songsmith, and Songsmith creates backing music for it.

Some of them are hilariously bad, such as "Tom Sawyer"...

...while others work alarmingly well, like "I Heard It Through The Grapevine":

Others still, like "Roxanne" and "White Wedding", are just laugh-out-loud funny:

Since I can't sing, I might be trying this program that can't make music. Any thoughts?

EDIT: This is the worst yet, and here's an ad for the thing.

Gee, it damn sure took me long enough to find and add the origin of the first quote...
