The computer is great...not the case though. So for the last few weeks, I've been feeling pretty toasty hile working on my computer..today it was a bit smelly. probably becuase my hard drive was melting. It's funny though, cuz you would expect a company like gateway to realize that hd=heat. Now I have to wait till tommorow so I can yell at them. I just hope it works still. If so, I'm buying a bigger case and moving this stuff. Anybody know of a case that would fit it with the side the mobo has to be one?

How long have you had the machine? It just started heating up and smelling? Does it need dusting? I would take the cover off and try to find what part is making the smell. Depending on the problem, a new case may not fix it. Last I knew gateway used pretty standard parts so most cases should work.
