Hmm, my wife and I got a pretty nice return. We paid off about $1500 in her student loans, then we put $1000 into savings, and $500 into our checking. Despite having quite a bit of money in savings, we sure to live like we're poor and have zero money to spare.

That said, I've been saving for quite a bit and I've been selling some stuff. I should have about $2500 soon for me to buy some bicycles for my wife and I and so some other stuff. Here's what I'm considering.

Two bicycles between $500-1000 each, closer to the $5-700 range though.

A UPS for my computer $180. Less needed now that some power issues have been resolve, but I still kinda want one.

Another drafting table $150. I have one as a computer desk. I would like another for drafting and projects.

A turbo for my 50cc motorcycle $240. The tinkerer in me wants to get it, but I know that I would have to get some special machined parts and what not to make this work, but I want to do it. It's a hard decision. Also on the list in this category would be a new head and cylinder ($360) with a 12:1 compression ratio instead of the 8:1 or so I have now. My 50cc needs more powah!!!

Metal DDR pads. I loved the game in high school and it kept me skinny, but I went through pads like crazy, which I hated. Getting two metal pads would cost $220, which is cheap enough that I would rather buy than build, and they should last a lot longer. Hard to store . . . probably won't happen.

Parts for the Couch of BOOM! Would cost about $700 total to build. It would be a bigger project than some of the others, and I would need to be motivated to finish. Maybe it will happen this summer.

The bikes are going to happen. There are some nice ones that I've been looking at. What will probably happen with the rest is that I will not buy anything with it and put it in savings. YEAH!

@ D, yeah I was going to get a UPS, but the day I went to get it they were sold out. Just my luck. Oh well. I also didn't end up getting a laptop after all, which kinda sucks too.

    And BG, w...t....F....? lol
