He was such a brave man the story bought tears to my eyes when I read it for the first time.

I guess it is just one of those things he laid down his life for that of his wife and kid.

Saw this yesterday or the day before. Pretty sad story. The girl won't get much more than a slap on the wrist though. There's no excuse for driving under the influence.
