    Im looking forward to finishing my car getting my dell tablet and installing ubuntu, learning html, and going to trade school in the fall.

    I am not looking forward to hand sanding my entire car again,windows 8,or my still lack of money.

    Speaking of Ubuntu and tablets:

    IMO, if they're trying to focus on tablets, they're not getting the point.
    The Unity interface isn't tablet-ready. Namely, the quick-launcher is a nightmare to get to.

    And the interface is still optimized for a 2-button mouse, not a touch interface.
    Two years. They were great. Let's make the next ones even better!

    I would argue that Unity, period, is a nightmare...but then I suppose I'm pedantic and set in my ways... Stupid kids, with their smart tablets and their i-things and their graphical interfaces...and their shiny...eagh... Where's my fluxbox! And why doesn't this site render right on Lynx?

    Gnome was good. Very customizable, and relatively light.
    Then Unity came out. Ack.

    Switched over to KDE.
    Two years. They were great. Let's make the next ones even better!
