I went over to my parent's place today to do a bunch of work for them including helping to install ethernet over power line devices since the cables going up the stairs is annoying them (the cables aren't used really, but still exist for a small amount of infrastructure still left behind from when I used to live there) and they want to get rid of them. The install went fairly well although there were a few complications (like how to wire the power system up) but that's now sorted.
When I came home, I went to go check on my website... and find an error message. Summary of the problem, the database server is no longer responding to anything, so a physical visit is now required. The problem is, I can't visit until next weekend as I have university this week. So one of the most important posts I recently put up (I'm currently designing a replacement PCB for a cheap Chinese RC Transmitter to give it better capabilities, that I'm going to be potentially selling) has now disappeared until I can fix the database server. It's extremely frustrating as I do need to drum up support to even get the idea off the ground.

And I wish Kickstarter allowed non-US citizens....

Just an update to this thread, 2 days ago, I fixed the database server and my website is now working again.
