Thread: custom modding companies

    Default custom modding companies

    Hi, i was wondering if anyone know of any company that will actually put a complete system together for you but you buy the parts and ship it or bring it to them or you give them a list of everything you want and they build it for you.

    I know there's a lot of custom pc companies out there but none of them are truely completely customized. They give u limited options in each category and they all specialize in limited number of cases and or modding techniques.

    Essentially the reason im asking is because i want to buy a falcon-nw fragbox II case kit and have it fitted with components of my choice and have it watercooled. Falcon doesnt seem to do watercooling for the fragbox and theyre very strict in which components they put in..if you ask for different components and even if they allow it, im sure they would charge a large premium.

    any help would be great. I reside in TX so if you know of any local companies, that be great. If any such company exist, please let me know ones that do and are experienced in watercooling.

    hmm i just went to austinmodders.com, the website seems a bit confusing, they dont have any products on display or any pictures of previously completed projects.

    oh and what do you mean pm you? are you part of any company or did you mean you might consider doing it for me? I wasnt exactly looking for a single person third party contractor type thing lol, i have a friend who can build pcs quite well but i was sort of looking for boutique custom pc company that does what im asking for.

    just call Falcon, im pretty sure they will make one the way you want it, or else a good reason why you dont really want the setup you thought you did. Of course it costs plenty, if price is a concearn you probably shouldn't look a Falcon at all.

    Pm=private message

    I own this website, and I've been a professional custom computer fabricator for 5 years now, with over 25 years experience as a master craftsman. ...Or you can just buy my book and have one of your friends build it.

    If you want someone to throw in a few custom watercooled parts, thats not exactly something a "boutique" shop will do for you, unless its already an option on thier offered systems.

    I know what a pm is what i meant was i had no idea you owned this site and that you were a professional custom pc fabricator, i just assumed you were some random guy offering to help me. I might consider the offer in the future, as long as youre cheaper than falcon haha

    The words "Custom" and "Cheap" don't belong in the same sentence. If you want anything custom made, expect to pay a premium.

    I don't know if it is just me. I can be stupid sometimes. But what exactly are you asking for? Are you looking for a custom modded pc (ex. Crimson Sky's PCs)? That is what the title of this thread sounds like. Or do you just want full control of every pc component that will go into your case and the case itself? Because that is what your posts sound like.

    In a few months time, you'll look back at that, and say: "Was i really that big a noob?" You NEED to go look up Doom 3 in Paul Capello's Worklogs.

    Hint: Crimson Sky = Paul Capello.

    We'll make a modder out of you yet!

    I suppose i was looking for the latter, but then again, i did not know who crimson sky was, with that aside, wanting full control of every pc component and the case itself is the same as wanting a fully customizable pc no? either way, i am just trying to find out what options are available out there for a new custom system i want to buy early next year.

    p.s. sky do you actually offer the service to make complete custom systems to interested buyers profesionally or is it just on a by request basis as a hobby?
