Hey guys,
This is my first mod, and im quite a n00b when it comes to modding so, you know, its gonna be as best as I can make it (please dont be too harsh ) btw, im getting help from DonT-FeaR, were best mates IRL.Its going to be based around an NZXT. Ok, got some more pics for you, cos ive already done some work. One thing I forgot to mention was what ill actually be doing to it!
Well, for the right side panel, therell be a 250mm fan in there (ooh yeah) im gonna be replacing the 120mm fans in the front and back with Coolermaster silent 120mm's, and ill be removing the mesh thats over the front and back fans atm, ill be cutting the word "HUSH" out of the top and putting mirror plexi under it, cutting a piece of mirror plexi to fit in the fdd drives for a switch plate, cutting and bending a small piece for the small cutouts on the very bottom of the bezel... rewiring the fans so I can put a switch in for the LED's on them, make a hdd cooler out of an old floppy drive... umm yeah, theres my wall of text. Old fan grill has to go. ![]() Yours truly hard at work, or is that hardly working? ![]() Both cut ready to file ![]() ![]() Had a scrounge around on the tennis court were weve got some things, and found these (from a tank) gonna use them for feet. ![]() ![]() ![]() Now ive gotta take some more pics, and upload some. More in a bit. |

Lookin nice thus far. I really like the reuse of things and the choice you had for feet are quite nice. +rep for recycling and making it look good.

Ok, last post for today. Btw guys, if you have any ideas, im open.
HDD cooler partly grinded. ![]() Taken the top foam off for the lettering ![]() Grinded the back of the case for the 120mm fan ![]() Need to touch up both And the front ![]() Big hole ![]() Big hole w/ fan ![]() Big hole w/fan and cover ![]() And thats it for today. Might get some more grinding done on the HDD cooler during the week. Till then. |
