Time for a new mod.
Project: Hemi-Cuda ![]() This is a present for my Brother-In-Law who is a HUGE mopar fan. He's been drooling ever since I built SuperbeePC for his parents. In the same spirit as Superbee, my Brother in law does not know!! The specs thus far are: Foxconn A74MX AMD Phenom 9150e 4GB DDR2-800 Video card and Hard drive are still unknown Alrighty, the victim case is the Orange In-Win F430 (review coming soon!) ![]() This vent is the dumest thing ever thought of. It's nearly totally useless, minus it's "cool look" ![]() Fortunately, it comes right off! ![]() This is what you're left with ![]() Here's where I'm cutting. This case needs a window with an intake fan, not a vent ![]() The drive bays have a bit of mesh on them, but not the see through kind ![]() I've already taped off the panel where the window will go ![]() And painted the bays. I'm not sure what I'm going to have besides a DVD drive, so the painting is "just in case" ![]() I put the bays back in, for now. ![]() TGS

I will clean it up tomorrow night as today is Sci-Fi Friday ![]()

Now to do something with the right panel
![]() I taped off my work surface ![]() It's gonna look a hell of a lot better than this, but it helps me visualize the goal ![]()

I received my fender logo. Oh, and it's real not a reproduction
![]() Here's where it's going ![]() These are the marks for where I'm drilling the holes. I'd love to do it today, but my wife is off work and doesn't want me near it. ![]()

I got the 4GB (2x 2GB) of RAM
![]() And the Coolermaster V8 heatsink ![]() It's pretty damn BIG! ![]() Here's about where it'll be in the case ![]() I padded the bottom to simulate a motherboard underneath. And as you can see it's still about a half inch from where the panel window will be. ![]()

Well, considering that the fan on the heatsink now is 120mm (I assume), you would need four 30mm (25 maybe) fans on the side of it, and then make some pipes like these pictured.
![]() ![]() Looking at the heatsink again now though, I'm not sure you'll be able to do that on the sink itself, although the metaphor for the CPU being the engine, and then having the heatsink look like an engine, would be pretty cool. You might be able to do that same idea on the side of the case though. Although, like I said before, I think you probably already have a vision in mind.
