Enermax, a company well associated with quality Cases and Power Supplies doesn't appear to be letting the global financial slowdown slow THEM down. This week we have three items of news from this supplier, all of which are good news for you and me... Read on...
First of all, Enermax has informed us that they are releasing not one, but two new ranges of Power Supplies this month. The Modu 87+ and Pro 87+ series are available now, and come with between 500 and 900 watts of power for your system. The 87+ relates to the overall efficiency of the units, and add a new top tier to the current ranges of 80+, 82+ and 85+ PSUs already available. For more information, read the official press release here (in .pdf format).
Second on the list is the release of a pair of new keyboards. The brand new Acrylux units are available in wired and wireless formats and have the potential to add a sleek glossy shine to your desktop. As more monitors become available in shiny black bezels, one of these keyboards might just be what you're looking for to compliment your screen. Again, for more information, read the official press release here (in .pdf format).
And last, but by no means least, as well as the new PSU's mentioned above, Enermax has upgraded some of their existing power supply lineup. Four of the current ranges have recieved some attention, and now benefit from the following:
- CordGuard cable retention clips, to keep your main power cable from slipping out over time
- Redesigned PCIe connectors in a 6+2 pin format to ensure compatibility with the widest range of video cards
- Heatguard to keep the fan spinning after shutdown to exhaust that last bit of heat
As an extra bonus, there's also a free case fan in the box. For the third and final time, for more information, read the official press release here (in .pdf format).
