Modder's Showcase
Welcome to thebestcasescenario.com Modcast! The staff here at TBCS are working hard to bring you the latest and greatest new information about custom computer case modding. These Modcast episodes will be broadcast as video, slideshow, and audio components which will be available for download or online viewing. Our goal is to provide you with consistent updates spotlighting some of the exciting and extraordinary custom case mods being built by this member-driven community. The content you can expect to find here will be focused primarily on project worklogs from aspiring artists and PC enthusiasts. We will also be shedding light on some of the newer tips and techniques such as airbrushing, kit-bashing, etching, metalworking, fiberglass fabrication, and a wealth of other techniques for you to learn in your quest to customize your rig. Hardware reviews written by members like you may find their way to the show, as will software reviews and guides. We have many facets of artistic pursuits here with the diverse skill sets of our community members and graphic art, web design, programming, software customization, and hardware customization are all of interest to the Modcast.
The Modcast began as an inspiration by one of our own members, progbuddy, who raised the idea back in November of 2006. Progbuddy has been a long time member in good standing within the community for an extensive period of time woking on his own project. He thought it would be a cool idea to publish podcast style episodes spotlighting segments of what goes on in the world of PC case modding, we whole-heartedly agreed and the development began from there. Another member named Omega picked up a microphone and put together a test broadcast and we were sold. From there the first episode was written and recorded by Omega with fantastic results. Yet another member Eclecticos jumped in the ring to produce the Flash video to meld with the script, this was his first experience with Flash slideshows and we were astounded at the celerity of his progression. Together with the direction of jdbnsn, the first ever Modcast featuring two member worklogs and some hardware reviews was broadcast and was a resounding success. Since then, Luke122 has joined forces with TBCS to produce original soundtracks and effects to the production as well as taking a starring role as the voice of TBCS.
We have been further developing the content and refining our techniques to bring you only the best quality in audio/video feeds and we are proud to welcome you to our exciting new medium for updating the PC case mod fans and lifting deserving projects to the spotlight as a triumph to their efforts! Who knows? Maybe your mod will be next?
