Aluminium

From TheBestCaseScenario

Jump to: navigation, search
General Info

Aluminum is fast becoming the favourite material for cases. It is light, quite strong, and extremely easy to work with. It is the ideal metal for the case modder because no expensive tools are needed as it is quite soft and easily cut/bent. One thing to watch for when working with aluminum is that once you bend it it will not like bending back again and will probably fracture.

This article Aluminium needs expanding. Can you help?

Using aluminium profiles is an easy way to make cases, there are complete systems of aluminium profiles/tubing which come in many shapes and sizes and have a vast range of brackets/joiners/wheels/gears etc, to fit it all together. The beauty of this stuff is that it can be easily changed and parts added/removed and moved around, this site will explain it all. http://www.kjnltd.co.uk/
