Some Modders choose the method of Scratch Building for creating a case. Unlike other forms of modding that involve making modifications to an existing case, scratch builders create a case from a pile of materials. They build everything from scratch: the frame, the hard drive racks, the motherboard support tray, everything is custom fabricated. This often takes much longer than other types of mods, but it also allows for the highest level of customization.
