[edit] The Role of Aesthetics

Many times an aspiring modder jumps right into a mod design thinking "This will look awesome", and while their case plan may be one of the coolest designs ever made, they often forget about things like leaving room for the actual computer, or the airflow through the case. The one thing that must be remembered is this is a case, and while you might be able to make it look good, its completely worthless if the computer inside cannot run well.

A good design must take into account everything that a computer requires. The trick to modding is to incorporate every aspect that the computer requires to operate and do so in an aesthetically pleasing way.
