Hey folks, as I promised earlier, I'm posting some previous mods o' mine. I've been away from modding for a few years, and these are all from my high school days. First mod was a complete disaster and was scrapped. Much was learned though, as seen below:

Mod #2: Flame case
Took it to LAN's, back when CS and WC3 was the thing to play. Painted the inside white, gave it red specs, a red cathode, and a custom side panel. Actually sold this for $400 a couple years ago (w/ hardware).

Mod #3: Custom side panel & lighting for friend

Mod #4: Biohazard Case
Buddy paid me to install UV green everything, threw in some green LED fans, cathodes, etc. Created a custom side panel. Painted inside neon green w/ dark green speck/spackle.

And now onto Mod #5: currently in production, doesn't have a title yet, but I'm open to suggestions.

MOD ON!!!

Nice work. How did you make the cuts in your side panel for the biohazard case? What tools, prep etc?

All 3 custom panels are 100% dremel. I drew it all out on paper, traced it on the back of the case, and got to work. I think the biohazard panel ate about 35 discs, the flame took about 25, and the other one took about 15 discs.

Lots of patience there, wow. Came out great though. Sweet cases by the way, totally kickass.

reinforced or the standard?

I like the splatter paint job on the bio case, very simple yet looks great.

all 3 panels were standard steel side panels.. 30 thousandths??
The splatter paint job was pretty easy...just use contrasting colors, spray a solid base coat, and use a small (1/4" ??) brush to flick and spatter the darker color on top.

Thanks for the feedback btw, and yes, it took a LOT of patience to cut those.

Excellent work with the dremel there. Patience is everything when you mod. I want to be done with mine SO bad, but I'vce barely made a dent in my to-do list. Plus, the more care & patience you put into something, the better it will turn out. Again, great work with the dremel; +rep for that.

I meant the dremel cutting wheels <.<
sorry for the confusion

oh, yea, standards wheels. They are thinner, so even though you go thru more wheels, you cut less of the steel to make a shape. They also have a smaller diameter, so you can get into round corners better.
