Someone I know went to the bus stop and remembered he forgot his keys and wallet at work. So he went back.

Wow. That's hilarious and tragic at the same time. Many kudos to that guy for keeping a sense of humor while stuck in an elevator, hahaha.

I thought it was bad enough having to SSL into my server in the States and use a password protected proxy server to get certain access to the internet whilst I was in hospital. That takes the biscuit. I like the "over a second to ping google"!

It took an hour to get out of the lift, 30 minutes for the techs to arrive, 15 minutes before he got out, the fan and lights stopped working and after the tech arrived, it took about a minute to get him out. Apparently the tech had to put a key in the lift and turn it.
