This was the first PC mod that I did technically I suppose. This was done during my lurking months so long ago. Was just a simple rattle can paint job.

Now: The reason for the name

This PC was to be donated to one of my cousins. He needed a pc for college to type, internet access, and music. It is an AMD 1.4Ghz T-bird, 256Mb Ram, 40Gb Hdd, CD-RW. He likes green and gray so I painted it with green, tan, gray, some blue highlights, and some black.

Right before his birthday I decided to not give it to him. He chose not to go to college. He started doing drugs. Smoking weed and drinking. Overall he just let me down. Hopefully things will work out in the end, but I couldn't give away a pc to someone who simply didn't care. Ive donated multiple pc's to kids who needed them. I wasn't going to donate it to someone who it was going to get "stolen", or sold.

Perhaps sometime soon it will find a new home. Or I may use it for a mod down the road. Who knows what will become of it. Looking at some of the projects ive been working on lately, I can definitely feel like my skills and ambitions in modding have grown, and for that I am proud of myself.

Very nice effect you have there. How did you get it?

Lol. This was before I really knew what modding even was. To be honest the paint is nothing crazy.

What I did though was start with a even coat of gray primer. I added some black in random spots. Then I added green in back and forth type motion. The green was to dark for my liking so I went over it with some sky blue highlights. The blue seemed to bright so I went over that in random spots with some tan and gray.

Then I just finished off some spots that seemed to far off with the opposite, to either tone it down or brighten it up. Came out kinda cool in the end. Much better than the Systemax beige box it was.

Eventually it will get an overhaul but my project list is currently long.
