PCB Kits

Hey all! First time poster, long time lurker here. I have a question about PCB kit assembly. I have never done one myself but I have basic soldering know-how. I was wondering if the kits are well documented for a beginner or do you need extensive experience with resistors and diodes and electricy things?

For example, the 12 Channel IR Relay Board (in kit form) that CS used in the Project : Mars City Mod, could a dummy like me figure that out?

If it is a kit it'll probably come with a manual...

If it's just soldering part together, try to google it or post your specific question on the board here. I'm there are a lot of people who want to help you out!
