This probably needs to be in a software forum but whatever. Futuremark, the company we all know and love for developing the 3DMark benchmark software has gone one better, a program that benchmarks your web browser. Yep that's right, your web browser lol. The program is called Peacekeeper and I found it here (http://www.techpowerup.com/87992/Futuremark_Launches_Peacekeeper_Web_Browser_Benchm ark.html) but you should be able to access it on the Futuremark site.

First the car entertainment benchmark and now a web browser benchmark, what will they think of next lol.

Who knows lol. At least this way you will be able to try multiple browsers on your own system to see which one works best for you.

I'm afraid it'll tell me I need to be using IE for optimum experience browsing the web.

That's the way my day has gone.
